The Department of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences is committed to providing outstanding educational opportunities for our students. Dedicated faculty and clinicians implement the most current research and innovative teaching strategies to facilitate classroom and practical experiences. What Your Gift Can Do

We receive some support from the University of Minnesota and from external grant agencies to help a small number of students defray costs of education. Unfortunately, however, most of our students receive no financial support. It is through donations from people like you that we can have a greater impact on:

• students achieving their educational goals
• ensuring a diverse and engaged undergraduate student body
• the excellence and competitiveness of our graduate programs

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help our efforts to continue to provide the highest quality education for our students. We have a number of funds that support students. Or to provide overall support, consider donating to the Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences discretionary fund, which provides general support for the department. Funds are used at the discretion of the department chair.
